The RAF Regiment is an organisation of just under 3000 personnel which specialises in the defence of RAF aircraft, people and associated installations..
The Station boasts approximately 2000 permanent service and civilian personnel but also accommodates a large number of personnel undergoing training at any one time.
RAF Honington is a busy operational station, it is situated midway between the main towns of Bury St Edmunds to the South and Thetford in Norfolk to the North.
